The defending NCS Division II champion Minutemen hope their record-setting junior running back, Olito Thompson, has one more big game in him as they battle undefeated Windsor at Santa Rosa High School on Friday night. Thompson has rushed for 3,203 yards this season which is not only the best mark in the state this season, but is fourth in the country.
Salesian, the defending Division IV champs, take a 20-game win streak into Saturday night’s game at Alhambra, and the only game during that streak that was decided by single-figures was a 28-21 win over Middletown in last year’s title game, also played at Alhambra High School.
