Bishop O’Dowd (29-3) vs. Laguna Hills (26-8) at Power Balance Pavilion – Saturday, 1pm

Bishop O’Dowd assumes the role of favorite, as they have so many times this season, in the matchup with Laguna Hills. The Dragons have a deep roster and tons of experience, including a state title loss last season against St. Joseph, and regional semifinals appearances in 2009 and 2010, and four straight NCS titles. Salesian (31-4) vs. La Jolla Country Day (31-1) at Power Balance Pavilion – Friday, 3:30pm

Salesian gets the call in rebounding (33.5 to 29.9) and blocks (3.4 to 2.8). But ultimately it will come down to whether the underdog Pride can churn out one more great (and superior) performance.
