Los Gatos dominates in 40-2 win versus Mountain View (AUDIO)

The Wildcats improved to 4-0-1 (1-0-1 league), Garret Zeiter ran for 217 yards, and Bryan Rose threw three touchdown passes (two to Teddy Enfantino) in a 40-2 rout over Mountain View.  It was a resounding performance after a 20-20 tie with Wilcox the previous week.

De La Salle, battling through injuries, stops Foothill (AUDIO)

Tiapepe Vitale went down with an injury in the second quarter, and his replacement David Riopelle rushed for 115 yards before he got hurt in a Spartans 39-3 win at Foothill.  With Joe Te’o likely out until November, and Dasmond Tautalatasi still banged up, the team will rely more on defensive standouts to help fill the holes on offense.

The Gaels fought off Alhambra, 16-8, as Alex Marshall made three field goals and Jabari Davis scored Dublin’s lone touchdown after his own interception.

Saint Francis (1-3) at Archbishop Mitty (2-1-1) Preview–Bay Preps Live Broadcast Game of the Week

The Saint Francis/Archbishop Mitty rivalry is one of the best in the Bay Area, and tonight’s setting at Mitty should be special with an expected 1,600+ in attendance on Homecoming night.

It’s a rivalry that has been dominated by Mitty in recent seasons, as the Monarchs have won five consecutive meetings, including a 42-14 win at Saint Francis last year as Mitty rushed for 322 yards.  The last Lancers victory was a 35-7 final in 2005.

Cross Country: Bellarmine, Presentation take WCAL meet (AUDIO)

At Golden Gate Park, the top four finishers (and 5 of the top 7) were from Bellarmine as the Bells cruised to the boys WCAL win.  Jack Bordoni, Esteban Valencia, Jose Sandoval, and Raymond Meijer were the top Bells runners, while Colin Mack of Saint Francis took fifth.  In the team standings, Saint Ignatius was second ahead of Saint Francis.
